This design was the result of an excersise requiring the design for a house with one wall, however that was to be interpreted. The design was further complicated by a long narrow lot that was accessible only from one of the narrow ends and which terminated at the waters edge on the opposite end. Reasoning that a hull was the one wall that separated the interior of a boat from the exterior, I took my inspiration from a canoe. The resulting structure contains a small house and a canoe building shop.
