This design was the result of an excersise requiring the design for a house with one wall, however that was to be interpreted.  The design was further complicated by a long narrow lot that was accessible only from one of the narrow ends and which terminated at the waters edge on the opposite end. Reasoning that the hull was the one wall that separated the interior of a boat from the exterior, I took my inspiration from a canoe.  The resulting structure contains a small house and a canoe building shop.
